An arborist, by definition, is an individual trained in the science of planting, caring for, and maintaining trees. Arborists are knowledgeable about the needs of trees and are trained and equipped to provide proper care. Hiring an arborist is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Proper tree care is an investment that can lead to substantial returns. Well-cared-for trees are attractive and can add considerable value to your property. Poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability. Pruning or removing trees, especially large trees, can be dangerous work. Tree work should only be carried out by those trained and equipped to work safely in trees.

We at Daryl’s Tree Care & Surgery are proficient in all areas of tree work. Our work encompasses the whole gamut of activities including tree and stump removal, tree and hedge pruning, transplanting and replanting of trees, tree surgery, cable bracing, preparation of arborist reports, council permit applications, elm leaf beetle soil injection & root investigation, as well as installation of possum guards, hazardous tree assessment and pest control.

One of our most important tasks is hazardous tree assessment. This is an especially intricate task and an area in which we are extremely proficient. It is our belief that no tree can be deemed to be totally safe. Experience says that what may have once been a healthy tree can decline and become weak, thereby endangering life and property.       I have been using Daryl's Tree Care for years, in order to maintain my Eucalypts and Lillypillys. Recently they quoted for, and performed, a large amount of work involving pruning and cable-bracing 4 large trees. Their team of 4 specialists arrived on time and performed the requested work in 4.5 hours (which I thought was excellent).
